雖然穆里尼奧嘴砲功力一流，個人覺得中肯的嘴砲不是那麼容易的，但還是有些時候會說出一些有哲理的話，而成為我的心靈教室。

有看過那場球的都知道這是什麼意思，我只能說: we did try our best and I am so proud of our team because we never give up. So, Chins up. We deserve to be proud.
2.After FAPL Reading vs Chelsea game. 2007/08/15
'I know it is a big gamble but if one day it doesn't work, like in my first
season it didn't work at Newcastle, and I am criticised, I accept that but I
sleep well because I tried.
'The worse thing in life is when you don't try. It is a message I want to
give to my kids all the time - you have to try. If you fail, you fail but you
have to try.'

“In the supermarket you have class one, class two and class three eggs and some are more expensive than others and some give you better omelettes. So when the class one eggs are in Waitrose and you cannot go there, you have a problem.”
“For me the problem is not to have three or four players injured,” Mourinho said. “For me the problem is which three or four are injured. When you have Drogba, Lampard, [Michael] Ballack and [Ricardo] Carvalho you are speaking about 40 per cent of the team, you are speaking about the spine of the team – one central defender, two midfielders and one striker.
“After that you go for Pizarro - he’s the second target man on the team, so should be the direct replacement for Didier, and he’s out, too. That’s five. And you go to Wayne Bridge and that leaves Ashley Cole as the only left back playing every game for Chelsea and England. The problem is not four, five or six players, but which players they are and their importance for the team.
“When you speak about Drogba and Lampard, you are talking about more than 50 per cent of the goals the team has scored. They are important injuries for us, but that’s the reality. I don’t want to cry about it.”
